Right now at this moment, my dream job is to be a seat filler.
Job
I am a seat filler for concerts, award shows, and sports games. Do you want to make it look like this performance is sold out? That’s what I’m here for. I have full control over what I attend. At the beginning of each month, I get a list of fillings needed and I make my picks. Sometimes my job is to fade in the background, other times I “volunteer” for the magician.
Location
I fill in seats all around the world. From Paris fashion week to Cannes film festival, Sydney Opera House to your uncle’s retirement party in Kissimmee, I see it all!
Salary
On top of an annual salary of $188k, I get free travel, accommodations, and outfits for each show.
Work Week
Because I create my own schedule, I usually only have about one-two fillings a week, depending on the travel. I have Summer Fridays which means whatever I’m attending to on a Friday, I get to go backstage and hang with the performers.
Coworkers
I work alone or with an assigned plus one (sorry no fighting for a ticket to the Oscars). My assigned plus one is always a fun conversationalist and they like to dance.
Boss
I have a boss I think?
Growth
Because of my immediate success. I have been asked to fill seats at royal weddings.
Misc.
I get to keep any clothes given to me but I do have to return the jewelry.
